Bolton Brow Academy, Sowerby Bridge

Since 2012 Bolton Brow School in Sowerby Bridge have been making use of the outdoor area which we along with Eightspace built and designed. This autumn we reconnected with them to support them to continue to give children's learning outdoors a solid base. We worked both at their site in school and at our site in Eastwood.
Predators was the name of this project and what a joy it has been to draw out and support the creative thoughtful play of teh this group of children. The feedback from parents has been 100% positive and the teachers are again inspired to make outdoor lerning an important part of all children's learning at Bolton Brow.

The first project began in Spring 2012 and ended in Autumn 2012 and since then we worked with eightspace to develop the schools very own wild space within its school grounds, to bring to the school some of the possibilities found from the children playing and learning at Forest School. What a lovely place to play and learn.
