Tinderwood Trust is a hive of activity, lighting the spark of creative outdoor learning and bringing it to life through Forest School in Yorkshire, Lancashire and beyond!
Tinderwood Trust has been working in Calderdale since 2011. Our charity has grown quite literally from the grassroots up. We started as a voluntary and community group established in 2006 by a group of likeminded individuals - professionals in the fields of Education, Play, Mental Health, Social Work and Design. As we have grown over the years our Board members have brought their many skills adding knowledge and experience to our organisation.
We offer Forest School sessions to children with their families/ caregivers ; consultation for the design of outdoor learning environments; school projects across mainstream, special and alternative primary provision; training and taster sessions for teachers and practitioners working within the Early Years and Primary education stages.
